Children like these can find a new home in an SOS Children's Village, where they find security in the care of an SOS mother and the companionship of their SOS brothers and sisters. Instead of your money going to help one child only, it goes towards helping a whole location - the SOS Children's Village and its supporting facilities (SOS Kindergartens, Schools, Vocational Training Facilities etc.). Your online sponsorship gives you access to an exclusive "my village" section on the website, which is updated every two weeks. Child sponsors do not have access to your "my village" site, packed full of news, pictures, interviews and stories - material that gives you, as an online sponsor, a special insight into what life is like in the SOS Children's Village and its supporting facilities.
Finally, due to the use of the Internet, the location sponsorship is more economical; it helps us save money on postage and other administration costs, leaving more of your money to go towards helping children.
